Very complicated migraines for most of my life but years of them unstoppable.

I have had migraines since I can remember, but 7 years ago they exploded to a everyday living nightmare!! Just started seeing a new Neuro that has helped me so much already. I am certainly not cured yet but they have been more knowledgeable than any Neuro I have ever found! Went so far in my family history & what I have tried & haven't. She has me on Vitamin D, B, Coenzyme Q10. The Q10 has changed my life!! I am taking this brand Qunol Ultra CoQ10. 100mg but = 300 mg. This OTC med helps me so much with being stressed while in so much pain!! I'm to have water with me at all times.
The majority of people & doctors have NO CLUE! What agony we go through everyday. I am SO happy to have found this app! I need this & hope I can help some one else!!

sam2004 February 4 at 6:281 LikeMy husband started with his daily migraines on 3-2008. It has almost been 4 years. I am new to this site but have seen a lot of people mention Coenzyme Q10. I am definitely going to ask his Neuro doc about it. He is thinking about Botox at this time. He is taking topamax daily. You are right about the agony. I have seen my husband who is generally been a happy go lucky guy before the migraines started, who now hopes and prays to be able to function each day. It is so sad! He was given morphine post op after a back surgery and his chart stated he had an allergy with morphine. If only the nurse or surgeon would have actually looked at the chart!!
