Hello All,
My name is Samantha and my husband has been battling cluster migraines for 3+ years on an ongoing daily basis. His pain never completely goes away and sometimes it is so bad that he cannot function. We have tried all meds; he currently takes topamax. He has tried acupuncture also. We are at the end of our rope. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the tip. My husband is now trying not to take the meds!! No Vicodin for almost three weeks and he is slowly decreasing his Topamax. He has an appt with his neuro doc in March. I am hoping with time that the pain does subside. I will have him try the oil

Taking medication more than 2x a week can cause headaches to become more severe and more frequent. Check out some natural remedies and attempt to "just deal", it's hard as hell but the relief you get in the end is great. The natural remedy that worked for me was peppermint 100% essential oil. DO NOT DRINK IT and do not get it in your eyes. Also avoid contact with lips cheeks or any fatty area, it'll burn for a while but no actual damage. Anyway apply a dab to your temples, the bone behind the ear and at the hairline across the back of the head. I use one drop to apply to both temples, 1 drop to apply to the bone behind each ear and between 3 and 7 drops on the back of the head/neck at the hair line. You will feel a tingling more intense for some than others but it's normal. Very similar feeling to putting on a cream or gel for sore muscles. Actually, for some, the stuff for sore muscles is as effective as the peppermint oil, in case you can't find the oil. Anyway, you can reapply as often as needed, generally feel relief within 20 min or so.

I take dispersible Aspirin on onset, but haven't found them in the USA (I'm from the uk originally) I'm also seeing a chiropractor and the frequency has reduced x
