Ibuprofen is worthless to me if used for a migraine. It might be good for fever or swelling, but not a migraine.

Hi Sleepless Peeps -

Only one of the NSAIDs worked for me, naproxen or generic Aleve, and it only worked maybe half the time on my migraines. It seemed to stop working as well after about a year, now I use it if have stiff neck or shoulders because that can lead to some migraines for me, and if I can take it early enough I can avert those kind of migraines. You do have to be careful of all NSAIDs and their side effects. Best to research them all to see which you may be able tolerate best. Hope this helps.
